Robert Bertram

Fire Chief Robert Bertram is a Colorado native. He has been serving Colorado communities through emergency services since 1992. Chief Bertram joined Chaffee County Fire in December 2013 with the support of his wife Lyndsay and two daughters, Emberlynne and Paige. Prior to moving to Chaffee County, Chief Bertram worked as the fire chief for Hudson Fire Protection District and Florissant Fire Protection District. In addition to career service, Chief Bertram volunteered as a firefighter with Northeast Teller County Fire, Florissant Fire, Cascade Fire, and El Paso County Wildland Crew. He holds an Associate Degree in Fire Science Technology, and is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Fire and Emergency Services Administration through Colorado State University.
