Chaffee County Fire Protection District is a special district governed by a board of 5 elected officials from our tax base.

Our current Board Members are:

Stuart Langrehr - Board President

Thomas Navarrette - Board Vice-President

Brent Jewell - Director

Gregg Grant - Director

We currently have 1 vacancy in our board of directors. If you or anyone you know of is interested in joining the Chaffee County Fire Board of Directors, please contact the main office at (719) 395-6545 for more information. 

The Board meets regularly once a month. To ensure all parts of the county can attend meetings, the meeting location alternates between Buena Vista and Poncha Springs.
